Hello,
Clarification – when I state Russia, I mean its government. I do believe that there are still good Russian citizens who don’t support war.
Just saw one video on Instagram and I can’t not talk about it. It was an interview with Russian woman voting in France, saying how Putin is a genius. Russia just voted Putin as a president – actually you can’t call him president at this point – maybe authoritarian. Again.
Now a lot of people around the world don’t consider Russia as an aggressor. They underestimate the country.
Before starting, I want to ask every single reader to think about this – did you consent for Russia to make a war that impacts us globally?
Let’s talk about the UK. Not to spread fears but make people think when they say Russia doesn’t affect them. I want to explain how Russian mindset works.
How many Russian oligarchs have bought properties in London? Loads. Who is stopping them to claim now that London belongs to Russia?
Who is stopping them to start a war by claiming they’re protecting their properties?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. While people are focused on immigrants and refugees, Russia is clapping hands behind everyone’s backs and quietly taking over other countries. 😉
And look! It fits exactly to abuser’s pattern – they’re a victim, they’re just protecting their properties. All blame would be on the UK. I just read some articles saying that those properties are sanctioned and they’re crumbling down. As no one legally can access them. So… Wouldn’t Russia go to the rescue of their money and a property?
Has anyone ever thought what Russia does in in other countries?
Why are people so surprised that post-soviet countries are against Russia? Because we lived through it and we know how bad it is. Even I was affected by it. (I’m from Lithuania). People don’t realise what reality is.
Russia is an abuser country on the bigger scale. Let’s get into specifics.
Entitlement
As I asked at the beginning of this post about consent, I want to say that’s exactly what abusers do. They don’t ask your consent. They don’t even care about your consent.
Did Russia hold a meeting with the whole world countries to ask whether they can do a war? NO. So, how they are allowed to do this in first place? Their war impacts every single one of us. Globally. Did we all consent to that? I definitely didn’t.
Everyone on internet is arguing whose fault is that. People need to wake up. None of us consented to that. Wars don’t have any excuses. There are no excuses for murder. That’s just an entitlement. Why we as society allow someone to decide whether something lives or dies?
Brainwashing
People claim how Russia is an amazing country. They say they’re proud of their country. What they’re proud of? That they kill other people? Wow, what an achievement. Should be ashamed of themselves that killing people is a thing that make someone proud. Disgusting.
If it is so amazing, it can’t be bad, right? People start doubting.
If Russians claim how amazing Russia is, well, people then start doubting and say – Russia must not be that bad if people are happy. But this country knows how to make itself look good (same what abusers do). Once I read the news, how Putin doesn’t support paedophiles (answering to what’s happening in the USA) and everyone in the comments were saying what a good person he is. Excuse me?
Do you really think paedophiles only exist in the USA? Plenty of them in Russia. But they’re hidden. Same as domestic violence, alcoholics, murders, poverty – it is all hidden from the media. But bad people exist in Russia too. Same as in EVERY COUNTRY. The difference that in the USA they’re being exposed and talked about. In Russia they’re being hidden.
Literally the same way victims are being questioned. Abusers make sure that they create a doubt. They treat others good while abuse victims behind closed walls. Russia abuses their own citizens too.
But nobody believes that. Victims are being questioned the same stuff – it can’t be that bad if you’re with a person? You’re exaggerating.
They question the victims but never the abuser. But that’s the whole point – abusive people want to make you doubt. So, Russia, uses its own citizens to share around the world how ”amazing” Russia is. If they’re so amazing, why they don’t live in Russia? I guess spreading propaganda and getting out all the spies.
Like the same way people saying Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and other countries exaggerating Russia’s aggression. But that’s what Russia wants you to believe – “they’re not that bad”. Truth is – they are bad. And that’s exactly how abusers trick their family, friends and other people. You cannot believe that they can be so cruel behind closed doors, right?
Gaining sympathy + manipulation
Putin talks about how he supports Palestine. How he would never kill children. His nation is killing children in Ukraine, raping them, starving them. Abusive people tend to share that they have morals, that they go with what society thinks is right. But in reality, they don’t. It’s just to gain the sympathy. If you knew abuser was all bad, you wouldn’t support them, so they know how to manipulate and pretend that they have empathy. That is absolutely a manipulation tactic – look what good person he is by supporting Palestine, but don’t look what he is doing to Ukraine. (And I do support Palestine, genocide has no excuses. I want to just show how easy it is to manipulate and how much society excuses abusers. We are easily tricked).
This also seeds a doubt. If he supports Palestine, there is no way he would be killing children in Ukraine, right? FALSE. That’s what he wants you to believe.
Abusive people tend to do the same – fighting for the rights, stating they’re against cheating or abusing, but then they go and do that behind closed doors.
Distorting reality
They lie about the war, they lie about the reasons of starting a war, they’re totally changing the narrative. People then get confused – what is real? (well, who is attacking and who is defending?) If you going to tell me, that they’re saving Russians from Ukraine, please tell me, in our century, is the war THE ONLY WAY to save people? And how many Ukrainians they kill, just because??? CHILDREN, ANIMALS. They’re all being killed – just because Russia can.
Pretending to be a victim and not taking accountability
Yeah, Russia, such a massive country, is a victim.. Would you believe so? Again, absolute abuser’s tactic – look at me, I’m not a bad guy in here. They blame Ukraine for their actions. Zero accountability for their actions. Absolutely delusional in their nonsense mission of ”saving” people.
Taking control of the systems
So, when soviet union occupied independent countries like Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and so on, beforehand, they started to take control of the systems, infiltrated into government, high positions. Slowly introduced Russian language as a normal one. Created schools, books. EVERYTHING. When they took over Lithuania, they started deporting Lithuanian artists, writers, politicians, all academic people to Siberia. Do you know what they were bringing into Lithuania? Alcoholics and drug addicts to take over. Yes. Here is your amazing Russia.
They take over control and take away people identities, cultures, languages. That’s exactly what abusive people do.
They play the games. They are strategic. But they lack compassion and empathy. They don’t care whether you live or die (they don’t even care if their own citizens live or die). They only care about power and control.
Russia controls its society. There is no freedom in there.
If Russia is not being held accountable for actions they’re making, how can on smaller scale victims expect justice?
Like people are sleeping until it gets very bad. Same with WW1 and WW2. Until it got to the point of whole humanity extinction, then suddenly, everyone cared.
Time to not wait until it gets worse and worse. Stop it before it gets bad. We saw the history. We saw the endings. Enough is enough. People need to wake up.
Also, if there is a chance that Russian reads this, can I please ask you to pass this message to Russian soldiers (thanks) or if anyone else knows how to pass it to them (translated with Google so sorry for mistakes) or maybe someone from Ukraine can pass this to russians:

Russian soldiers, please stop the war.
Why do you want to spend your last time minutes as a human on this earth by killing people? Would you not rather be with your family, parents, wifes, husbands, daughters and sons? Can you imagine spending your last minutes with them being an old age?
Can you imagine being free of war – going to a job, favourite cafe, walking in nature, travelling with your loved ones? How good is that, isn’t?
Drop those weapons, and go home. Where your loved ones are waiting. They want you to live. Not die. War doesn’t have any meaning. It is pointless. It’s not beautiful to kill for your country. It is tragic. Those who will survive war will have trauma for the rest of their lives. Research has been done how wars are very bad for soldiers. Because it destroys you. What’s the point of seeing all of your friends die in the field while you could sit at your house and have a beer and a laugh instead? Or vodka. Imagine how good it is to be with alive people. Being alive. No wars, no blood, no killings. Russian soldiers. It is time to go home. Time to say stop. Time to say no. No more killings. No more wars. First time in our history, be an example, of stopping a war and saying no. Be an example, of seeing greater good – being alive with your loved ones. Experiencing life with them. You can do that. All you need to do is drop the weapons. Life is not about a land. Is not about the money. Life is about spending moments with people who matter to you. Instead of seeing your friends torned apart. Imagine, hugging them and laughing with no worries. Absolute safety. How good is that?
Time to go home. Killing people don’t make it greater good. It has no purpose. It only makes it worse. Your life matters. Everyone life matters. Say stop and go home.
