Are you thankful for what you have?

2 minutes read time.

Hello,

How often do we say thank you for what we have and do who we have in our life?

I know it seems such a simple thing, but genuinely, when was the last time you felt grateful for what you have?

When was the last time you’ve stopped seeking and appreciated where you are right now?

We are so focused to reach goals, but we forget how amazing the journey is. We only want results, but we forget it takes a path to get there.

Since doing my healing I come back to say thank you quite often. To universe, to people I am surrounded, to those who help. I’m trying to appreciate what is happening, slow down and enjoy my path rather than rushing.

Same with healing, last year I was so determined to heal myself as quickly as possible. I was pushing myself and I kept failing. Why? Because I pushed too hard. I expected to heal within set framework. Truth is, I’ll be healing for the rest of my life. While healing I will still go through lessons, joys, worries, miracles and misunderstandings. And that’s okay. I am learning to enjoy the journey, the moment. I am learning to be thankful for what I already have.

So, recently I’ve posted a post on my social media saying thank you for everything. I won’t list in here what I’m thankful for, but I would encourage everyone to do this as often as possible. Be thankful for a smallest thing.

It is easy to keep thinking what we want and what we don’t have. But how about focusing on how much we have? Like at this moment in my life I have the most I ever had. It is good to have goals to have more and want more, but how we will be able to enjoy that, if we cannot even enjoy present?

I also think when we share our gratitude, others get inspired and do the same. In the end, we all want a life where we all feel loved and appreciated.

So, on that note. Thank you for reading this and thank you for everyone who visits my website! I appreciate that. <3
