Hello, this time I have decided to share top 10 my favourite TV-shows. I have done it with movies (link below) before so I thought it would be nice to include these. It was a bit difficult to choose I won’t lie as I have way more than 10 shows that I liked or loved.
I am not rating the following shows, just simply how they came in my mind. I wouldn’t be able to rate them if I’m honest 😀 basically they are all in 1st or 2nd place for me.

Supernatural – this TV-show is my childhood. My neighbour was watching this and I would come and join her. Mystical, scary, funny, creative, includes many different creatures – I just love it. Dynamic between 2 brothers, Castiel and other characters, music (most of rock songs I know comes from here :D), story, everything about it is great. I honestly don’t have any complaints. Maybe the ending was not something I expected, but genuinely it is very hard to make a good ending in general for TV-shows. Most endings where always like -? this to me 😀
This TV-show has 15 seasons! Old school type of episodes – 45 minutes 20-22 episodes per season. This TV-show made me feel all the emotions as it has different styles and that is one of the reasons why I love it. You never know what to expect. For example, a bit of spoilers – they have episode with scooby-doo!
The X-files – ok this is an old school TV-Show. Created in 1993. However, Scully and Mulder is an iconic duo. Nothing can beat their characters. This TV-show came to me, when I was going to Poland for a Christmas day. It was on a small tablet on top of a back of a chair and I saw their episodes and watched one. 😀 At the time I had some experiences that I still cannot explain regarding aliens, and I had no clue that this TV-Show is about aliens. So when I saw their first episode it was like universe sending me a message 😀 anyway. Truth is this TV-Show is more than aliens. It includes governments, experiments, cases and relationships. It has very deep meaning, however, to get to that meaning you need to watch it all.
There are 11 seasons in total. This one is interesting because they had a big break between season 9 and 10. Season 9 ended in 2002. Season 10 started in 2016. 😀 However, it is all good and interesting.
The 100 – I think it is quite clear reason why many people may like it – apocalyptic earth scenario – very highly likely to happen to humanity. So it has it’s magic regarding that. Towards the end I stopped liking it as much. However, majority of this TV-Show is amazing. It greatly picks up people psychology and makes you to think – what would you do, if that situation occurred? It really makes you question what is right and what is wrong to do.
It has 7 seasons around 13-16 episodes per season. It is easy to watch, I did really love how characters evolve and change and it kind of inspires you to change as well.
Fringe is another great show if you are interested in sci-fi, thriller, mystery and etc. I loved it for a story line and open-minded suggestions as it makes you to think – what else can there exist? There is a lot scientific approach to strange events/ dimensions, timelines. Great actors and this TV-show really inspired me to think more broadly about universe and ask as many questions as possible. I don’t remember how I found about this TV-show. Maybe I saw it on TV and then I got interested, but yeah, great one too.
It has 6 seasons, usual 45 minutes episodes and 20-22 per season.
Gossip Girl – oh, I know some of you will be, how come did you like this TV-show, when you are all in some random supernatural / FBI type of TV-shows. Well, truth is, that is exactly why I love this TV-show because it is pure reality. Drama, everyday people’s life, where you can relate so much. This TV-show I like for its simplicity. It doesn’t make you think, just have a good time. Great actors and great intriguing secret of who is the Gossip Girl? Actually the end of this TV-Show is probably my favourite and couldn’t be done any better.
6 seasons in total with usual 45 min episodes, 20-22 per season. If you want something easy – give it a go.
Stargate SG – 1 – aliens, travelling different galaxies – that is what this TV-Show is about. Great investigations team which manages to experience so much that you will be at awe. I loved this TV-Show for uniqueness. It is slow pace – old school type of as it was made in 1994. However, I do prefer slow paced TV-Shows where there is a build up. Stargate also has additional TV-shows such – Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe.
Again it gives a lot of space for imagination and it makes you to think about life in general. It has 10 seasons and usual 45 min episodes, 20-22 per season.
Sex Education – again, simple, reality based TV-Show. Sex is such a taboo theme even nowadays and I exactly loved it because of this reason. I found out about so many things on this TV-Show that I was never taught anywhere else. You can say it is educational too. Very funny, relatable and just easy.
Only 4 seasons, 45 min episodes and 8 episodes per season. Very quick to watch. Also! Gillian Anderson (actress from the X-files) is here so it made me even more interested to watch this, I admire this actress.
Mindhunter – okay, this one is more serious. Basically, it is about serial killers and there is a team who investigates them and basically puts it on records. It is heavy as they tried to show real world serial killers, how they think and what they do. Knowing that it has reality in it, makes you one way sad. However, I did love it.
This TV-Show currently has only 2 seasons, I have read they might renew it and continue, however, not very clear. I do hope they bring it back, because message and knowledge behind this is quite useful.
Dark – it is about time travel and it actually came to me, when I was investigating about time travelling. I do think it is possible, but it is all irrelevant because at some point you can say that anything is possible. If we can create weapons, technologies, pretty much everything from nothing. Why do we think that time travel is impossible?
Great TV-show, won’t spoil anything, music and actors are great. 3 seasons in total, 45 min episodes and 8 per season.
Attack on Titan – okay, this one will be probably a surprise for you. However, thanks to my friend from England, I fell in love with this anime TV-Show. I still haven’t finished it yet. However, it is amazing. I never thought that I may like anime TV-shows, but again, having an open-mind can lead you to great things. It makes you think, analyse, it depicts so many things and problems we have in a society. It has everything that I would consider important. Great message is being sent.
There are 4 seasons, episodes are only 20 min, but there are around 21-22 episodes per season. I can say though, those 20 min go so fast that you end up watching at least 4 episodes at once. I prefer watching in original language with English subtitles but you can watch English dubbed version too.
So, of course I have seen more TV-shows than just this, however, these 10 are the ones I mostly enjoy and would remember and recommend. To be honest I might do another post in a future and include the other TV-Shows I have seen and enjoyed as there are too many!
