Hiya!
Soon is Halloween and I wanted to share with you an idea of Harry potter themed Halloween. Although, Harry Potter for me personally associates with Christmas, but I bought a book (picture will be included) about how HP films were made and I’ve got inspired (there are paper props inside). I think Harry Potter meets criteria for both Halloween and Christmas.
Here is the book:

So, I obviously have some Halloween decorations that are not exactly HP related, but it’s still Halloween.
- Very simple DIY or an idea – Umbridge cats. I have some nice plates that my mom have sent me plus these paper cats that my mom got me from Finland and I thought immediately – I can make those cats in plates! Unfortunately, I don’t have pinky plates, but you could find some in a thrift shop. Please note, these cats are not stickers and I’ve attached them with Blu Tack. I’ve also gathered some shot glassess and they fit here perfectly.

2. Right, so moving towards potions. I have 3 bottles of drinks. 2 were empty and 1 is almost gone. So, I’ve got stickers for potions from the book I’ve mentioned and decided to use them on bottles and ….. Make my own potions! I’ve bought edible glitter and also edible colouring, mixed it with water and it looks great! I have also bought this scary candle from the Lonely Broomstick in Falkirk (Scotland) and added next to my potion bottles.

3. Sweets/Honeydukes/Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. Again, I have received a prop from the book of a catalogue of sweets and had to do my own section. Bought a pin and Magical Chocolate frogs in same – the Lonely Broomstick in Falkirk shop and added sweets.

4. I had, of course, to do something just in general Harry Potter related, so here is just bits of everything and the garland I’ve made myself by cutting out pumpkins and bats and printing out Harry Potter houses flags as stickers.

5. Finally, I’ve done my own dementor! I’ve bought this skeleton at Poundland. He had a grey skull, but didn’ take picture of that. I took some paint that I had leftover and I’ve painted its skull, hands and put glowing in the dark paint, but you cannot actually see him glowing. After that I bought fake spider webs and just attached onto him. Firstly, it was hanging in a hallway (not very stable), but it was getting into us all the time and it fell twice. I had to move him and he doesn’t look as good as before, but still something scary 😀

5. Below additional stuff that I have for my Halloween and still didn’t take pictures of everything. 😀 some Harry Potter related, some just Halloween decorations.

Spooky Halloween when it comes!
