People and their judgement

Hello,

today I got inspired by one person uploading a post on Facebook. Basically, his judgement upon the people. I was very keen to reply, but decided not to.

My disappointment was that people judge when they don’t understand or they don’t know whole facts. You know when somebody does something and then other people are judging. But none of us can really judge and decide whether people make right or bad decisions.

Simply because we don’t know what influenced those people. We may never know what is happening in their life and what choices do they have.

When I was a kid, I said that I will leave my mom’s place when I’ll be 18. Many reasons why, but honestly, it didn’t happen. I didn’t have opportunity, neither the money. I had to stay and until I left my country, I was living with her. If I stayed in Lithuania, either I would need to rent with somebody or continue living with mom as there were no other options. Prices were high and salaries not good enough and with my Bachelor in Events Management my only job choices were cafes and shops. As being an events manager you need what? Money. 😀

Can somebody now judge me? No. Although I guess people would start saying their opinions how should I have done something. But they don’t know all circumstances and decisions behind the actions…

I really do not support making judgements when you know nothing about a person and saying that he or she should have done this instead of something else. How can anyone suggest that? Life takes us unexpected paths and we experience stuff nobody knows about. I have many things that most of the people don’t know. They don’t have to.

But this is what it is. Instead of judging the person and telling them what they should do or not, let’s try to understand. Let’s try to imagine what they are going through and maybe consider they might not have any other choices?

Sometimes choices or opportunities come later. Not every single time there is a solution to everything.

Better judge our own life and see if we are making good decisions ourselves. 😉
