Hello,
I have a few ideas to share about how to do things while you are renting and you obviously cannot hammer stuff into the walls, or glue anything on anywhere.
Recently I moved to the flat and hilarious part – walk-in wardrobe does not have lighting! Imagine, you want to hang your clothes and it is complete darkness….
We couldn’t install the lights, so we tried to find different choices. Well, there are these battery-powered lights that you can attach to the surface, but: a) we tried them before, and they don’t stay on for very long. b) The surface they would be attached to is made of wood, and I was worried it would get damaged.
The only idea came is those lamps that you can attach on a shelf but without any damage. I will show you on the pictures what I mean.

This mechanism is perfect for us as we can always use this lamp in the future. We put the extension next to it.

Here is the final look. It is bright, big and perfect!

Another idea is hanging a calendar. Again, usually in the places you rent you cannot put a nail into the wall. The calendar I had though needs hanging. What I did, just bought a hanger over the doors and instead of a nail, I put a string! Hanged the string on the hanger and here you go. How you can change a month then? Simply use blue tack and stick it on previous page. Blue Tack comes off easily and does not damage the calendar. 🙂
