Hellooooooo,
I am sorry, for not being able to write in here (mainly because we did not have internet for more than a month) I did have loads of things to do aka move to a new place, sort everything there and all the other things. I do work full-time job and spare time I usually spend with my boyfriend or filming. This weekend for example I went to check my eyes and ended up in hospital… In the end nothing wrong was with my eye, but it ruined whole day to me. But I am glad I was checked.
Now Christmas is next week and I do feel like I am not prepared for it. Not because I do not have gifts or decorations. No, those I have. I just don’t feel Christmas spirit yet.
I am going to be more active on Youtube so if you want subscribe to my channel to see more updates.
Christmas… Not sure how it is for you, or if you even celebrate Christmas, but I do like it and I like Christmas as it is. Of course I do have Lithuanian traditions, but for me Christmas means – loads of snow, snow fights, presents and coooozy time + Harry Potter. ❤ I am sad that UK does not have snow as it makes winter less magical. But I still appreciate the weather here.
In my opinion, Christmas is all about family and kindness, but of course it is religious celebration and we did some religious things with my mom too. Not too many, but we did. I know nowadays people say it is really commercial celebration day, but you know what? Why not to have one day a year where you can just give presents with a meaning? Of course there are birthdays, but believe it or not, some people don’t celebrate their birthdays. I think buying presents, when they do have a purpose is really nice. So many DIY opportunities and so many things to try!
Christmas songs – love them. They do get annoying, but they give that Christmas spirit.
Knowing situation in a world with constant wars, killings and other bad things, I think Christmas is the best time to appreciate your life and your existence.
Just to be thankful for what you have and where you are. I do plan to donate for Ukraine before Christmas and I encourage you to do so. Life is not fair for everybody, but we do need to help each other and again I think Christmas is a good push to do so. I mean you should be good and kind any time of a year, but Christmas is like a reminder that some of us are really struggling.
Let’s share love and peace.
P.S Oh oh oh. I almost forgot. Last year I did not do that, but this year I will make a POST ABOUT + and – for 2022. Can’t wait!!!
