So, I didn’t write about May top 8 cause I had not time for movies, book readings and etc… It was a really busy month. But here you are Top 8 June things. Enjoy!
1. Book – “Vandeninės moterys” – Sabina Daukantaitė. (Women’s of water). As I know there is only in Lithuanian language version. Book about dams in our path which makes life go the way it supposed to go. So inspiring and sensitive book! Loved it!
2. Song – Troye Sivan feat. Ariana Grande – Dance to this. Soft and light song. Troye music is so unique and different. Just try to listen!
3. TV show – My kitchen rules… Oh my god… If you try to watch be ready for hunger coming up… 😀 But I would recommend this for food lovers. For those who like to cook fancy food by themselves.
4. Thought – ”Turn your face to the sun and the shadow falls behind you” – Jan Goldstein.
5. Book – Nikolai Gogol “Short stories” which includes “Nose”, “The portrait”, “The carriage” and “Nevsky Prospekt” and etc novels.
6. Song – The XX – Intro. This melody is something unreal and mysterious… I love this music. But it took me a few years to find this melody cause I didn’t knew name or artist of the song. Listen and relax…
7. Thought – “You’ve seen what they want it you to see” – The X-files. So, ask yourself, do you really believe what others says to you?
8. One of the best things this month. I already had two song festivals. One was in Tartu, Estonia and this is Gaudeamus student song festival of Baltic countries. More information about it link down below:
So, song festivals I love since childhood. My first song festival was at 2009 in Vilnius, Lithuania. And I don’t know how to explain feeling while you singing with thousands people the same song together… And I’m not talking about those festivals like EDM, or Glasgow. No, these festivals when you are the artist. So, it is really different. And those festivals is not every year. For example, next Gaudeamus will be after 4 years…
And second song festival was in Kaunas, Lithuania yesterday. And it was amazing. Photo gallery link down below!
