December thoughts

You rarely think about what life gives to you.
You don’t understand—everything comes the hard way.
Do you really appreciate it only when you lose it?
But to think like that is also a loss.

People are blind—they can’t see the light.
Only before Christmas comes the insight.
People are weak—they have no strength.
Only during celebrations do they want to fight.

You can't be weak; others have worse days than you.
You’re not blind; you just don’t want to see the truth.
Is it just Christmas that makes others poor?
Or maybe it’s becoming ridiculous?

Are we giving presents only during celebrations?
Are we giving love only during occasions?
Are we helping each other only when there’s no way out?
Are we really sensing that others have doubts?

Christmas—a time of miracles.
But miracles happen every day.
Am I not right?
